Have a research idea?
The Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare welcomes ideas for projects that would bring engineers and clinical faculty together around compelling problems in healthcare. Our goal is to accelerate the deployment of research ideas into the clinical environment. This does not mean we will not support more basic research, but successful projects should build on some connection between what you wish to do and an impact in healthcare practice.
If you wish to propose such a project, please address the following questions and email your document to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- Explain your problem – what are you trying to achieve and what are the barriers (clinical, organizational, technology etc.) that you perceive? Why do you think MCEH could help?
- What is your proposed solution and how would it lead to clinical impact?
- Can you quantify the resources that are needed for your project?
- Could you provide 2 or 3 measurable milestones you could achieve within 1-2 years?
*We do not have a specific deadline for proposals. We will try to respond quickly, but be aware we are quite selective in what we are able to support. However, we do keep ideas in mind and will do our best to find matches whenever possible.
