An associate professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and Neurology and Neurological Surgery and the assistant dean of faculty at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Masaru Ishii’s clinical specialties include the surgical management of nasal airway obstruction, chronic sinusitis, and sinonasal tumors, as well as endoscopic surgery for skull base tumors. He is affiliated with the Johns Hopkins Sinus Center, the Comprehensive Brain Tumor Center, and the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare.

Ishii graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
