Join us for the 2017 Johns Hopkins Research Symposium on Engineering in Healthcare, co-hosted by The Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare and The Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality, on November 20, 2017, 8:30 a.m. – p.m. in Chevy Chase Auditorium at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
The 2017 symposium is titled “Teaming with Technology Along the Care Spectrum” and will bring together experts who advocate for leveraging new and emerging technologies to deliver better health care.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Sara J. Czaja, the Leonard M. Miller Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Czaja has extensive experience in aging research and a long commitment to developing strategies to improve the quality of life for older adults. Her research interests include: aging and cognition, caregiving, human-computer interaction, training, and functional assessment.
This year will also feature a lightning pitch session, where we are inviting participants to pitch a research idea or team, and a poster presentation session.
